Delighted to announce the birth of baby Neo.

Born: 13 May 2008. 7 lbs and 14 oz. Named Neo, after my dad.

Mum and baby fine.

Have taken 2 weeks paternity leave, and we are sleep deprived, but it is going ok.

Relatively quick labour and simple delivery. But I had it easy.

Nicholas is being curious and helpful. I am currently doing the school run. Nice to get good wishes from other parents and teachers.

Thank God for coffee and snatches of sleep whenever we can get them.

Now off to register the birth.
