BA train loads of other airlines, so we saw lots of exotic looking air stewardesses running around.
In the last 3 years, on 1.5 million flights, BA have had 2 incidents - which were precuationary emergency landings. No casualties, one grazed knee.
The BA team was good. Facilities were a bit 1970's.
Went to the BA Cranebank Training Centre yesterday, near Heathrow.
We did a half day Safety Awareness Training, as a team event, with 30 people from BP.

We did: -
- 2 jumps onto an evacuation slide from the side of a plane
- seated on a plane training simulator and they filled it with smoke (disco smoke - vanilla flavour), then went dark, and had to evacuate
- simulator - emergency landing - brace position and leave the plane
- opening 2 types of emergency doors - one you pull off and throw out and one at the front you open
- played with life vests
- videos and stories
