Things to do in Texas

Number 2: Go to the NASA Space Centre. (Did that 3 weeks ago)
Number 1: Go to the JFK museum at the Book Depository in Dealey Plaza, Dallas (Did that in 2005)
Number 2: Go to the NASA Space Centre. (Did that 3 weeks ago)
Number 3: Go to Louisiana.
So we went on a road trip. We jumped into our Lincoln MK Z hire car, and drove for 2 hours on Interstate 10, crossed the Texas-Louisiana border, and stoppped at a small town called Lake Charles.
Flat, marshy, swampy, and full of churches and casinos. And saw loads of shrimping boats...it's all very Forrest Gump.
Then drove to Holly Beach, which was destroyed by Hurricane Rita. (See the before and after pictures above). Walked along the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. I collected some shells for Helena, and spotted some drilling rigs offshore.
